OUR MONEY : ex governor Ohakim gave me $2.29m cash to buy Abuja mansion - Witness reveals

Still on the Our Money segment,

The Trial of former governor of Imo state, Mr. Ikedi Ohakim have taken a new turn as a star witness of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), Mr. Abu Sule, yesterday, narrated before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, how Ohakim gave him $2.29millon at night to help him acquire a mansion in Abuja.

The witness is the Managing Director of Tweenex Consciates Limited, a company EFCC is insisting was used by Ohakim to launder funds that were allegedly stolen from the Imo state treasury.

According to the witness, Ohakim had approached him with the intention to buy a choice property in Abuja and it was while on a search mission he discovered that a mansion situated at No. 60, Kwame Nkrumah Street, Asokoro , was put up for sale by the owner, one Alhaji Muktari Isah MaiDebino , for a price of N270million.

In his words, the witness said:

"I quickly informed Chief Ohakim about the house and the price it was going for. He asked me to come for the money. When I got there, he gave me the the dollar equivalent of the money. He gave me $2.29m in cash. I collected the money from him at the Imo State governor's lodge in Asokoro, at night. The money was paid in one tranche.

"The following day I called Alhaji Muktari Maidebino and we met at Unity Bank in Maitama were he collected the money and handed over the documents of the house. He used the money to offset a loan he collected from the bank where he retrieved the documents. My lord, when I collected the original title deeds, I informed Chief Ohakim. After a bit of delay, he said I should use my companies two names for the Deed of Assignment and Power of Attorney.

"Because he has been my benefactor, I went ahead and did the documents as he requested. The house was never given to me as a gift. I handed the originals of the documents to Chief Ohakim even though I kept the photocopies. I was the one that signed the documents. After we perfected the purchase, we used about one and half years to renovate the house, after which we handed it over to him in 2012". The witness further told the court that Ohakim on parking into the mansion, persuaded him to prepare a tenancy agreement to make it look like he(Ohakim) rented the mansion from Tweenex Consciates Limited.

Divide Your Salary By 30 days And See That A Street Hawker Earns More Than You.. (Must Read)

Divide your SALARY by 30 days and see what you get (i.e. the number of days in a month and see the funny thing about your salary plan).
For example,

(1) An average level-12 worker in the state government civil service earns NGN 60,000.
**** And this translates to NGN 60,000÷30= NGN 2,000 every day. This is LESS THAN the amount made daily by an AVERAGE HAWKER in the city.

(2) A freshly EMPLOYED GRADUATE BANKER in most NIGERIAN BANKS earns an average of NGN120,000 monthly.
***So everyday, you get NGN120,000÷30= NGN4,000 as the daily value for your work-life. By implication, this is LESS THAN the amount earned DAILY by an AVERAGE DRIVER in d city and in some villages.....

(3) If you are a FRESH GRADUATE EMPLOYEE in some oil companies, you earn an average of NGN300,000 monthly. So in a day your WORK-VALUE is NGN300,000 ÷ 30= NGN10,000
**** This is LESS THAN the daily amount earned by an IRRIGATION FARMER supplying vegetables to Lagos MARKETS, a TIPPER CAR DRIVER supplying sand for three BLOCK INDUSTRIES and CONSTRUCTION SITES just 3 times a day and DRIVERS of DANGOTE TRUCKS who have bought off the trucks at scrap value and are using them to convey products between villages and the cities for just five business owners.
--------->>>HOPE BY NOW, IT IS SINKING IN, RIGHT?
And when there is an ISSUE in the FAMILY that requires FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, the DRIVERS, HAWKERS and the rest are looking up to you with a WHITE COLLAR JOB.

(4) If you are an NYSC MEMBER, you DON'T need to be told that:
*****NGN19,800÷30 = NGN 660 is your worth on a daily basis.

I hope you know that PURE WATER SELLERS who own a shop, a pepper soup joint and a small TOYOTA COROLLA car to distribute pure water to five restaurants earn MORE THAN you & WHEEL-BARROW PUSHERS working on contract for three warehouses probably make MORE MONEY than you EACH DAY

............

We shouldn't end at satisfactions from these earnings. We should be more proactive, create room for more income and strive to diversify our streams of income.

The earlier you wake up and smell the coffee, the better for you......

I know of someone right now who will say this is too ideal to be true but take your time and do this analysis over and over again, and you will grasp the crux!!!

STOP waiting for the Government to feed you, feed yourself and help the Government feed others. That is where we are in this age.

DO have an Entrepreneurial week ahead!!!

LADIES MEN: '' I ignore female excesses. I try as much as I can to ignore it'' Segun Arinze

I always tell you guys, no man is ugly they just need a little bit of that success,  you will see how Handsome they are regardless of natural flaws,

While many will find it very hard to believe, and some might even argue that veteran Nollywood practitioner,  Segun Arinze is being economical with the truth, he has disclosed that female fans flock around him and tells us that he has been able to escape them by simply 'ignoring their excesses.'

Speaking with New telegraph, the actor, whose nickname in some quarters is 'Eyes Prince', said,

"For some actors in the industry, they would be carried away by fame and fortune but for me, I have been able to strike a balance of what I want and how I go about the things I do.

"And also, I ignore female excesses. I try as much as I can to ignore it.

Over time I have been harassed but I choose to be wise about.

"I think you fall when you want to fall. It's a personal decision to be silly or wise," the father of six added.

LAST DAYS:See Shocking prophesies for 2016 by blind psychic who predicted ISIS & 9/11

A blind psychic who is credited with predicting the 9/11 terror attacks and the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami may have warned of the rise of ISIS decades ago and also made dire predictions for 2016 and beyond.

Baba Vanga, a Bulgarian clairvoyant, made a chilling prophecy warning of an invasion of Europe by Muslim extremists in 2016.

She foresaw a "great Muslim war" which would begin with the Arab Spring in 2010, play out in Syria and end with the establishment of a caliphate by 2043 with Rome at its epicentre.

She was known as 'Nostradamus from the Balkans' due to her reputed 85 per cent success rate.
According to News.com.au ,Vanga, who died in 1996 aged 85, reportedly made hundreds of predictions in her 50-year career. According to Vanga, Europe will "cease to exist" by the end of next year following the systematic elimination of entire populations, leaving the continent "almost empty", a "wasteland almost entirely devoid of any form of life".

The mystic allegedly warned of climate change and the polar ice caps melting as far back as the 1950s.

And her followers believe she predicted the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami after warning of a "huge wave" that would descend on a "big coast, covering people and towns and (causing) everything to disappear under the water",

HE MOST FAMOUS BABA VANGA PROPHECIES TO 'COME TRUE'
Predicted in the 1950s: Global warming and the 2004 Tsunami.

"Cold regions will become warm … and volcanoes will awaken. A huge wave will cover a big coast covered with people and towns, and everything will disappear beneath the water."
"Everything will melt, just like ice."

Predicted in 1989: The September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on New York's Twin Towers.
"Horror, horror! The American brethren (believed to be a reference to the two 'brother' towers) will fall after being attacked by the steel birds (thought to be the two hijacked passenger planes). "The wolves will be howling in a bush (believed to be a reference to then US president George Bush) and innocent blood will gush."

Predicted in 1980: The sinking of Russian nuclear submarine the Kursk in 2000.
It saw the crew die horrible deaths over several days while international rescue crews tried in vain to retrieve the vessel from the depths of the ocean. Until the tragedy, people assumed the "Kursk" Vanga referred to was the Russian city the Kursk was named for.

"At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it."

The election of Barack Obama.
Vanga reportedly correctly predicted that the 44th president of the United States would be African American. However, she also stated that he would be the "last US president". We'll have to wait and see how that pans out

May God never allow you to skip judgment and may your wickedness be serve as a birthday cake as you celebrate for the rest of your life.As you turtured me day and night when I was in your house may the laws of this country catch up with you one day . I survived your cruelty towards me because God was on my side but now is the time for the whole world to know the marriage I was in and why I used my hard earn money to file for divorce. Auh!! 'The Bible Did Not Say Smoking Is A Sin'- Toyin Aihmakhu

It is really funny how people who don't know much about something happen to say the more about it,  Aunty mbok stick to your acting. Ahh

Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu, after all the drama of her failed marriage and the troubles and heart ache that came with it has of recent made it known to all and sundry that she is now born-again in Christ and is now a new creature. She reflects this change in her outlook towards life, and now uses every opportunity to preach the gospel of repentance and positive change of lifestyle.

Today, she posted a question on her Instagram page and added a spiritual angle to it.

So folks, do you agree with her initial submission? Although smoking is harmful to our health, but is it a sin?

INTERESTING : Here Is Why Kim And Kanye West Named Their Son 'Saint West'

Baby West arrived on Saturday, though the new parents waited until Monday to reveal the name.

Sources reportedly told E!News the new parents decided upon the religious name as they wanted to show how much of a "blessing" their son is after Kim's "difficult pregnancy".

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has made no secret that she doesn't enjoy pregnancy and had a complicated birth due to Kim suffering from something called placenta accreta - when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterus.

The condition - which has the potential to cause severe blood loss after delivery - made the birth "the most painful experience ever", reports TMZ.

Well, what can we say? To each his own

My crush was so confused, she emptied her bags, checked her pockets and still couldn't find it. All of a sudden, she went unclad right in front of the cashier, my mouth is still opened"
